Renewed Master Electrician Certification

**I renewed my master electrician certification yesterday, on line of course. I’m good until 6/30/2015. That’s a four year renewal, cost $200. Wish I had something clever to say here like “Master Electrician Certification, $200; being able to provide excellent electrical service with a 100% satisfaction guarantee to our many happy customers, Priceless” Anyway, the certification is a necessity, I can’t acquire an electrical license adn electrical permits in any city without it. Do you know certifications, licenses, fees, and taxes are all taxes? They just carry different names and offer various ways and means to tax. In 34 years of electrical contracting, I have never seen it so difficult and challenging to compete in business with so many out also trying to make a living but many are neither qualified, experienced, licensed, or insured. Still, I prefer to play the game by the rules, do what’s right, and offer the best service, experience, and qualifications as an electrician, master electrician, commercial electrical inspector, and electrical contractor.
